TCST: Bensel, Esposito Win Winter Finale

Frank Bensel of Purchase. N.J., and Frank Esposito of New Brunswick, N.J., shared honors Monday, March 1 in a Treasure Coast Senior Tour tournament at Heritage Ridge Golf Club in Hobe Sound.

Bensel and Esposito matched 13-under-par 57s in a one-man scramble. In this format each of the 26 contestants plays two balls from each position, choosing the better outcome from which to hit the next shot.

This was the last of four tournaments on the TCST’s winter schedule. Play will resume in mid-May with some 20 events planned through September. For information, go to www.treasurecoastseniortour.com.
