Target Acquired Offer more focused practice time to your customers with Sonix Golf's metal targets on the driving range
Everyone aims at the golf ball picker on the range so they can hear that noise – you know the one: a golf ball hitting metal!
Sonix Golf creates custom golf targets designed specifically for driving ranges and practice facilities. The sturdy construction of heavy-gauge sheet metal produces instant visual and auditory feedback. Their tag line is “A sound approach to a better game.”
The goal is to make practice more fun and more focused, and to assist golfers of all ages and ability levels to achieve lower scores and enjoy a more productive practice session.
Based in Denver, Sonix Golf was founded by Caroline O’Connor after a successful 17-year tenure as the director of women’s golf and head coach at Stanford University. During her career as a player and instructor, she developed a target system that eventually made it to Stanford. After leaving Stanford and realizing the impact the targets had on numerous players, O’Connor decided to produce and distribute the targets to facilities nationwide.
Prior to her time at Stanford, she was a golf instructor in Palm Beach Gardens at The Academy of Golf at PGA National. Co-founder Meredith McGrath enjoyed a successful professional tennis career prior to co-founding Sonix Golf.
Sonix Golf targets are fully customized with your facility’s logo and choice of four colors to provide a greater visual stimulation to better engage your patrons. You could even sell advertising space on the targets by choosing optional magnetic logos which can be changed out as needed.
The targets are used by numerous facilities across the United States and can be seen in Southeast Florida at the Palm Beach County-owned courses, University of Miami and La Gorce Country Club to name a few.
