The Graham Companies hosted the 47th William “B” Graham Memorial Golf Tournament at Shula’s Golf Club on April 26 to benefit the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
This year’s first-place team and winners of the coveted stained-glass cow sculptures was Miami Lakes AutoMall, represented by Fred Senra, Luis Senra, Tico Casamayor and Julio Sardinas.
Marilyn K. Gaylord Charitable Trust took second place and Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital placed third.
John Shaw won the closest-to-the-pin contest.
Unfortunately, no one made a hole-in-one to win a brand-new Chevy Equinox SUV from tournament sponsor Miami Lakes AutoMall.
This year’s tournament raised approximately $20,000 for the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, which serves more than 35,000 youth and their families in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
The South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America offers year round programs to develop character, citizenship, leadership, life skills and fitness.
The late “B” Graham was an executive with The Graham Companies, which developed the Town of Miami Lakes.
